Derrek Woodbury, DO

Orthopedic Surgeon - Hip and Knee Arthroplasty, Orthopedic Trauma

Dr. Derrek Woodbury completed his undergraduate training at Boise State University receiving a bachelor of science in health science studies and a bachelor of arts in philosophy. His medical education was completed in the Las Vegas area at Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine.  He completed five years of internship and residency training in the Detroit Michigan area through Michigan State University.

Dr. Woodbury completed an additional year of orthopedic trauma fellowship training at Detroit Receiving Hospital where he specialized in the management of complex orthopedic injuries including pelvic and acetabular trauma.  During his time in fellowship he also completed training and certification in robotic assisted surgeries of the hip and knee.

Dr. Woodbury is truly humbled by the opportunity to work with the greater Central Oregon community. His goal is to provide a team oriented approach to orthopedic treatment where the patients needs are met with kindness and personalized care.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Woodbury enjoys exploring the outdoors while snowboarding, mountain biking and fly fishing with family and friends.  He also enjoys woodworking, building bicycles and wrenching on his old International Scout.
